Earworm

Behold

I had the song

“Dancing Queen”

stuck in my head

I wept

I repented of all

that had brought me

unto this piteous place

Yae, verily

I did gnash my teeth

and pray for deliverance

Yet naught would avail me

Finally, beseeching the Bible for comfort

I did ope it at random unto Mark 14:36

and therein did read:

“Abba…” Jesus prayed

abba-dancing-queen-1594200817

Noooooooo!

  1. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia! I keep forgetting it’s Lent and singing Alleluia.. So I guess I have an earworm gone internal.

  2. Question: Even though my sermon on forgiveness tomorrow is finished, do I find a way to fit this in? Also…The one who openeth the Scriptures randomly doth walk the tightrope of possible condemnation. Prayers.
