The Lewis quote sounds like Narnia.

It is. In fact, many consider it THE Narnia quote. Happy Advent!

I attended an “Advent Day of Reflection” yesterday — actually, it was part of my new job, I did the sound and recording. It was a lovely way to start the season and put me in a different frame of mind. I threw away the to-do list I had and carved out more daily prayer time and reading instead.
I, too, love the CS Lewis quote.

Love the Lewis quote, the perfect balance between being terrified of God and taking Him for granted.

Mitch, this is a lesson that many believers miss, in growing in understanding of Christian Faith. When we leave the realm of a Child and through Adolescence, many new and more acceptable premises bring on that which we find difficult to share. Advent is one of the Great times for learning and growing. I find that pondering the words of C. S. Lewis, ensure growth and understanding. Great post.
