It’s Boss’s Day!* Yay! Maybe.
To borrow an old bit:
“I quit because of religious differences.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah, my boss thought he was God. And I disagreed.”
Good leaders know how to find the delicate balance between leading and listening.
If your boss has learned that balance, celebrate them today and tomorrow!
If not, earnestly pray for them.
(Or hire a hit man.)
*In the U.S., Canada, Lithuania, and India. So buy your boss a hamburger. Or some maple syrup. Or borscht. Or a spicy curry. Or…?
Nice one👏👍

Throughout my “career” I’ve encountered a disproportionate share of difficult bosses. One devil in particular almost drove me to the point of shouting out, “I QUIT!” But… instead… each night as I was drifting off to sleep, I prayed for her. Guess what? Within 2 weeks, she QUIT! So… I’d have to say that rather than going the Don “route”…. going with God would be everyone’s best bet!

So true. My boss is a little bit like this as well, always demanding stuff but never truly cared about us. 😦

Sorry to hear that, Ragazza, but not completely surprised; we’ve all had that guy (or woman) as a boss at one time or another.

Our boss is constantly sticking up for us to his boss (she is text-book bad). He’s pretty awesome all the way around. We’re lucky; he is not
