May I add, from songwriter Alan Parsons
Time, keeps flowing like a River to the Sea.

Great concept Mitch, It did make me ask: Would it be to our advantage to know the number of drops of water in our River? and, How long would it take for one drop of water to go full circle?
Amazing Grace!

Have you ever hear John Denver’s “Where the River Meets the Sea?” Musically, it’s not exactly top notch. But the theology in the song is very sound, and similar to your post here. If you’re interested, its on the Muppet Christmas Album, which came out some times in the 70s.

Yes, and there’s an ancient saying that water is constantly seeking its way home, nice one.
