Aerosmith, Toys in the Attic 1975 I know you didn’t intend for that to happen, it did for me, however. smh Thank you, Mitch integrating this scripture is a comfort. I still have a way to go. It’s nice to have company, in that regard.

True, I wasn’t intentionally referencing Aerosmith (though I do love that song), but I was referencing the same common phrase. And, yes, we all have a way to go. Which, I suspect, is why the verse emphasizes “daily”–dying to self is a conscious, ongoing act.

Yes, even now as we can feel the End Times inching up, it requires less of me and more if the Lord. Thank you for the reminder that we have to lay it all down, good and bad, for Him to work.
