Election fever.

Tempers boil.

People scream.

The world can never survive.

And then there’s this.

“You’re welcome.”

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”  ~L.M. Montgomery

  1. This was so beautiful! ^_^ Thanks for sharing!

Also, I don’t really get caught up in the election fever as it were.

I know who I will vote for and that’s that. No arguing, no fighting. I can respect another’s decision to decide to vote differently than me. It’s a beautiful thing free will and having the freedom to vote for who you want to.

No sense in all the hate and arguing.

Haha! Debate nights are the worst. I avoid my Twitter stream then. Xp

Viewing that photo actually lowers blood pressure, I think! A stunning example of our God’s handiwork. Thanks for posting it, Mitch. I, too, am very grateful for Octobers. “The land is lit with autumn blaze” (from a poem by Helen Hunt Jackson)!

You are right. We should never lose sight of the need to be grateful to God. Even in the midst of cultural chaos and judgment. He is still good. And He is still in control.

This post reminds me of what happened to me the other day. I had spent about 2 hours reading about the debate and what people thought. When I was done, I felt God speak to my heart. “You spent a lot of time doing that. Was there any good in it?” Whoa. No, there was no good in those two hours for me or anyone else. I am now limiting my time on political news.
