God is Love

“God is love.”

1 John 4:8

If we do not act out of love

we do not act for God.

May your days be full of God.

Note: This should not be perceived as passiveness or sentimentality. Real love is neither. It is a fierce and interfering force that refuses to see others hurt–even by themselves.

  4. Too many people see love and forgiveness as weak, when in reality they require great strength. You make this point extremely well. Love this post!

Acting out of love for God–a six word mission statement to keep us focused and purposeful. Also love the idea of living each day FULL of God. His fullness is available; the question is, am I embracing it? Thank you for the inspired thoughts to ponder, Mitch!

I figured I would check you out since you liked my blog. I enjoy your quick, short, poweful, and simple messages. God is love, that says it all. I pray that God blesses the socks off of your feet! I feel that God is about to open a door in. Your life. However one door is about to close. Fear not though. For God already has your path laid out. This is a word from the Lord. Believe and receive.
