Thank You, Dr. King!

King-Non-Violence

Sir Isaac Newton once said, “We build too many walls and not enough bridges.”  Today in America we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who not only crossed bridges, but built them.

Thank you, sir!

  1. Amen! I love that quote. No soul murder is allowed either, sorry. 😉

That is almost inconvenient truth, but “hey, I did not shoot the man” is an excuse that only works in Spaghetti Westerns. The rest of us know perfectly well that hatred alone is a very destructive force.

Refuse to shoot and even refuse to hate? Wow. These words of Dr. King need to be on billboards in our towns and cities. And our children need to be taught how to dissipate hate. But in the end, it boils down to choice. Are we willing to turn a deaf ear to the voices of hatred in our heads? Thank you, Mitch, for a thought-provoking quote!
