  1. Yea, I often think that I am so insignificant in this vast universe and only one insignificant person among billions. Who am I to matter to an infinite God? I try to make a small contribution to the betterment of my fellow brethren in my very small section of the Universe.

Hi Mitch. I have to admit that I have not visited your blog for too long a time. Sorry! This short post demanded that I return, if only for one reason… I would say the “insignificance” of my own existence being the reason. Would it be wrong to say that most people overestimate their “significance” if measured in worldly terms?

That is amazing and exactly what I think when I look at the limitless night sky! I feel both the smallness but also that I am important enough to have a place here.

  5. Makes me think of Hebrews 2:6… “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?” And yet we go on to read that He, in fact, is mindful of us! How thankful I am that He loves us, we are significant and we matter to Him. I know you know all this, but just had to share. Blog on Mitch… you are a blessing! đŸ™‚

How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
    Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.
    Psalm 139:17-18 NIV
