Perfect Love


The term casts out in I John means “displaces.”  In other words, God’s love cannot co-exist with fear; it casts it out and takes its place!

    I also like the definition of “cast” – “to throw forcibly in a specified direction.” I.E., toward the only One who can handle it all.
