D-DAY: June 6, 1944

1) Evil exists

2) It can be overcome

…but never without great courage or sacrifice.

To those who’ve exercised both…

Thank You!

Mitch, stopping by to thank you for your recent visit to Shift Key and peruse your site. This caught my eye for a number of reasons. 1. I try and remember D-Day because my dad served in WWII and this year is my 50th anniversary – the month I joined the Army. 2. Each year there is less and less news coverage for D-Day. It bothered me at first. Then I remembered Churchill fought in the Boer War; who remembers? Then I remembered that Jesus is the Lord of time and space, at Cana turning water into wine. A glimpse into eternity where there is the absence of time. Your photo caption is so true; Jesus too has overcome. Made it easier for me to accept that most people will forget WWII, Vietnam, etc. All that we do belongs to time; all that you and I are in the Lord belongs to eternity. A pleasure bumping in to you, kind sir.
